Eagle Rare Double Eagle Very Rare 20 Year 2025 Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl)

Double Eagle Very Rare 20 Year is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Eagle Rare line, made at Buffalo Trace in Frankfort. It has spent 20 years in oak, twice as long as the standard Eagle Rare 10 Year. This is the 2025 release of an annual bottling first introduced in 2019, in a 750ml bottle. It comes in a hand-cut crystal decanter holding two sculpted crystal eagles, one of them suspended inside the bottle. The decanter sits in a silver presentation box with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity. The colour is deep mahogany with golden highlights. Expect dark and candied fruit on the nose, with caramel, cigar box and cinnamon. The palate brings dark chocolate, leather, dark cherry and tobacco, and the finish is very long.
