Eagle Rare is a Kentucky straight bourbon aged for no less than ten years, bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. Barrels are chosen one by one to give a consistent flavour with an individual character.
The nose is complex, with toffee, orange peel, herbs, honey, leather and oak. The palate is bold, dry and delicate, with candied almonds and very rich cocoa, and the finish is dry and lingering.
