Eau Claire – Ploughman's Single Malt

Eau Claire Ploughman's Single Malt is the new flagship release from Eau Claire Distillery in Alberta. It is made from 100% Alberta malted barley, some of it traditionally horse-farmed, and draws on more than a decade of distilling and maturation in the province's high-altitude climate. Primary maturation takes place in a mix of ex-bourbon and new European oak casks. Master Distiller Daniel Gowrie then finishes select barrels in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks sourced from the Ximénez-Spínola bodega in Spain.
