Eddu Diamant is a French whisky from Brittany, distilled in 1999 at Distillerie des Menhirs and made entirely from wheat. It was matured for 16 years and bottled in 2015 at 44% in a 70cl bottle, in an edition of 350 bottles.
The whisky was matured in Cognac casks and then in Brocéliande oak barrels.
The nose has ripe stone fruit, honey, vanilla, soft spices and floral notes. The palate is silky, with dried apricot, light caramel, nutty notes and subtle wood. The finish is long, warm and harmonious.
