Eddu Version Française is an unpeated single malt from the Distillerie des Menhirs in Brittany, France. It was distilled in 2011 and is bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle, as a limited edition. The Le Lay family distils on a pair of Cognac-style stills, mainly uses ex-cognac casks and reduces the strength slowly. The cask chosen for this release holds whisky distilled in 2011, and brings together the long expertise of Cognac with the strong personality of Breton terroir.
