Eddu Silver is a French single malt whisky made at the Distillerie des Menhirs from buckwheat. Eddu is the Breton word for black wheat.
It was aged for five years in French cognac casks. When it was launched in 2002 it was the first buckwheat whisky in the world, according to the distillery. The character is fruity and surprising.
