Edinburgh Academy Floreat 1824 (70cl, 49.6%)

Floreat 1824 is a single malt made to mark the bicentennial of Edinburgh Academy. It is bottled at 49.6% in a 70cl bottle and released as a limited edition. The whisky is a marriage of seven American oak Sherry octaves filled with Ardnamurchan single malts, the youngest of them six years old. Two of the octaves held peated whisky, which gives the finished dram a delicate hint of smokiness.
