Edinburgh Gin Seaside (70cl)

A gin whose character comes from three foraged shoreline botanicals: bladderwrack seaweed, scurvy grass and ground ivy, gathered from beaches around Edinburgh. Bladderwrack contributes sweetness and the scent of sea air, scurvy grass brings slight spice and salinity, and ground ivy adds fresh, summery grass notes on the finish. These are balanced with grains of paradise, coriander, cardamom and juniper, with juniper in a supporting role. Originally a limited seasonal edition, it became part of the core range. It earned a Silver Medal at the IWSC in 2016 and a Gold Medal for packaging the same year.
