Edradour – 10 Year Old (70cl, 40%)

Edradour 10 Year Old is a single malt from one of Scotland's smallest distilleries, an Eastern Highland producer whose methods have remained virtually unchanged for the last 150 years. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The ten years of maturation were spent in a combination of Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks. The result is a rum-like dram with a thick mouthfeel. The nose is medium in weight and complex, with fruit, sherry, sweetness and vanilla. On the palate come rum, barley and toasted almonds, and the finish is spiced fruitcake with crème anglaise.
