A blended malt from Elements of Islay made for Feis Ile 2025, bottled at 54.5% in a 70cl bottle without chill filtration or added colouring.
It blends whiskies from several Islay distilleries, whose names are not disclosed. They were matured in sherry, bourbon and toasted barrels.
The nose offers sea salt, cocoa, coffee, burnt wood and orange. The palate is full and powerfully peaty, with dark chocolate, orange, sherry and nuts, and the sherry and toasted oak come through clearly. The finish is very long, with caramel and smoke.
