Elements of Islay Cask Edit Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Elements of Islay Cask Edit is a blended malt Scotch whisky at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is part of the Elements of Islay trilogy created by Oliver Chilton, master blender at Elixir Distillers. Rich, smoky single malts from the south coast of Islay are blended with a fresher, fruitier style from the north. The blend draws on three types of cask: refill, bourbon and sherry. Its colour is pale gold. The nose is fresh and smoky, with citrus, iodine and smoked bacon. The palate is sweet, with baked apples, salted butter caramel and dark chocolate. The finish brings apple pie, gentle spices and tea.
