Elements of Islay Sherry Cask is a blended malt made from whiskies of several Islay distilleries, matured in sherry casks. It is bottled at 54.5% without added colour and without chill-filtration.
The nose opens with bonfire smoke, smokehouse and a light nuttiness, before deeper sherry and berry fruit come through. On the palate it is gently maritime, with sweet berries, liquorice and oak. The finish brings plenty of grain, spice and full smoke, leaving a balanced sherry sweetness behind.
