Elijah Craig 21 Year Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, bottled from a single barrel after 21 years of maturation in new charred oak, in a 750ml bottle.
It is made from a high-rye mashbill of 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley, and the rye spice sits alongside the caramel and vanilla of long-aged bourbon.
The nose combines caramel, vanilla, aged oak, rye spice and dried fruit. The palate is deep with oak, warm spice, leather and sweetness, and the finish is smooth and long.
