This is a Toasted Barrel bourbon from Elijah Craig, released to mark its role as Official Bourbon of the 2025 Ryder Cup. The base is fully matured Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon, bottled at 47% ABV.
It was finished for eight weeks with staves of 75% sugar maple and 25% applewood, the second a nod to the Big Apple, and the two were then vatted together.
The nose offers maple syrup and apple pie. On the palate come candy apples and caramel, and the finish is soft and warm, with chocolate, cocoa and a little pepper.
