Elixir Distillers Ben Nevis Peated Small Batch 6 Year Old 2019/2025 (48%)

This is a peated Ben Nevis from Elixir Distillers, released in The Single Malts of Scotland range. It was distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2025 at 48% ABV, without chill-filtering or added colour. Only four casks went into this small batch: first fill bourbon barrels and second fill sherry butts. The bourbon wood contributes vanilla and sweetness, while the sherry adds dark spice. The distillery's peat smoke runs through the whisky alongside these flavours.
