ElsBurn Ruby Port Casks is a single malt from Hercynian Distilling, the 2023 release from Batch 002, bottled at 46% ABV. Only 1,404 bottles were filled.
The whisky spent its entire maturation in Ruby Port casks from the Douro Valley in Portugal. Hercynian is known for working with casks that previously held southern and sweet wines, and this is its newest example of that approach.
