Enigma is a 25-year-old blended Scotch whisky from Cadenhead's, in a 70cl bottle at 41.4% ABV. It was distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2023.
The whisky matured in refill sherry butts, and 5,850 bottles were filled.
The nose is of walnuts, old furniture, orange marmalade and caramel. On the palate, mineral notes of slate and copper meet sherry tones of dried fruit, toffee, nuts, raisins and chocolate. The finish is medium in length, with plums, vanilla and cocoa.
