This is Ben Nevis 10 Year Old, the Spring 2023 edition of the Equinox & Solstice series. It is a Highland single malt from a single 2012 refill hogshead, bottled at 48.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The series this year features original artworks by Skye-based artist Ellis O'Connor.
Refill maturation gives a youthful Ben Nevis with an oily mouthfeel and plenty of waxy flavours, with a natural barley sweetness building in the back of the palate.
