This is a French single malt, grown, distilled and matured entirely in France. It is unpeated, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and aged for three years.
Maturation takes place in a mix of American oak, bourbon barrels, Cognac casks, French oak and red Burgundy oak, giving wine and oak notes rather than smoke.
The nose has ripe fruit, vanilla, light spice and malt. The palate is soft and round, with apple, pear, honey, light oak and a subtle vinous freshness. The finish is medium, slightly dry and elegant.
