Evan Williams Black Label Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl, 43%)

Evan Williams Black Label is the flagship Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill in Bardstown, bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It is aged for longer than the law requires and has a medium amber colour. The brand is named after Evan Williams, who is credited with opening Kentucky's first commercial distillery in 1783. It is often poured neat or over ice, and also used in cocktails such as the Old Fashioned and whiskey sour. The nose is vanilla and mint. On the palate come oak, brown sugar and caramel, smooth and rounded, and the finish is easy.
