This is a straight bourbon from F.E.W. Spirits of Evanston, Illinois, aged for four years and bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The mash is 70% corn, 20% barley and 10% rye, distilled in a 1,500 litre copper pot still made in Germany. The spirit then matured in heavily charred new American oak. The nose brings vanilla, caramel and sweet corn. On the palate come cinnamon, caramel, cloves and spicy oak, with a touch of malt. The finish is long, warming and spicy.
