F.E.W. Immortal Rye is a four-year-old rye whiskey from Few Spirits in Illinois, matured in charred new American oak and bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle.
Oolong tea is added after distillation, which gives the whiskey its distinguishing character. It is non-chill-filtered.
The tasting notes describe sweet vanilla, dried fruit and a touch of cinnamon on the nose. On the palate, soft floral and slightly earthy tea notes are balanced by a restrained rye spice. The finish is long and warm, with light spice.
