It is a small-batch blend of the distillery's bourbon and rye whiskeys with a malt whiskey that carries cherry-wood smoke. The grains are sourced locally and processed on site. The nose has graham cracker, warm honey and ripe tart cherry, with cinnamon bark and a light waft of cherry-wood smoke. The palate is medium-bodied: sweetness gives way to white pepper and clove from the rye, with baked apple, caramel and a slight cherry tang. The finish carries lingering smoke, soft white pepper and honeyed grain.
