Fable 7 Year Old 2022 Batch One Blended Malt (46.5%)

This is a 7 year old blended malt, the first batch from Fable, made from malt whiskies of three distilleries: Mannochmore, Blair Athol and Dailuaine. It is bottled at 46.5% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, and the batch runs to 3,000 bottles. The whisky matured for a minimum of 7 years in ex-bourbon casks and hogsheads. The label draws on the legend of the Ghost of Clanyard Bay. The nose is fruity, with apple, pear, citrus, malt and vanilla. The palate brings toffee and butterscotch, spiced malt and baked apples, finishing on vanilla. The finish is lightly dry, with white pepper, ginger and a touch of wood.
