Famous Grouse Smoky Black

Famous Grouse Smoky Black is a blended Scotch whisky built around peatier malt whiskies, including a rare version of Glenturret, together with grain whiskies. The result is a full, lightly smoky and soft blend. The malt component is rested for longer to bring smoothness, and each cask is checked before blending. In the glass it is a dark, reddish gold. The nose is smoky and aromatic, with rich notes. On the palate come dried fruit and spice, with aniseed and clove, smoky but smooth. The finish stays sweet and smoky.
