This is a 12 year old Highland single malt from Fettercairn, the only distillery at the foot of the Cairngorm Mountains.
The distillery cools the copper necks of its stills on the outside, and it is the only one to do so. Its founder, Alexander Ramsay, was a leading campaigner for the legalisation of distilling. Richard Paterson, also known for his work at The Dalmore, is the master blender.
A unicorn appears on the label, standing for purity and strength and for Scotland itself.
