A 15 year old Scotch whisky bottled by Findlater Mackie Todd & Co. Ltd. in the 1980s.
The nose is toffee and dried fruit with soft oak, vanilla, hints of sherry and spice, and light smoke and malt. The palate is smooth and rounded, with caramel, nuts and dried apricot, a creamy texture, and a little peat and spice. The finish runs medium to long, with lingering warmth, soft spice, fading vanilla and oak, and a touch of herbal bitterness.
