The nose is toffee and dried fruit, with soft oak, vanilla, hints of sherry and spice, and light smoke and malt. The palate is smooth and rounded, with caramel, nuts and dried apricot, a little peat and spice, and a creamy texture. The finish is medium to long, with lingering warmth, soft spice, fading vanilla and oak, and a touch of herbal bitterness.
