Findlater's First XI is an 11 year old blended Scotch whisky produced by Findlater Mackie Todd & Co. It was bottled in the 1980s in a ceramic decanter shaped like a Mitre football, made for the Italy 1990 World Cup Finals. The Findlater blend was established early in the company's history by its founder, Alexander Findlater. The firm bought malt whisky from Shaw & Turbett and William Burns in 1826, then switched in 1831 to the Glasgow Distillery Company, which supplied both grain and malt whiskies. Findlater whisky was bottled until the early 1980s.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
