Findlater's Mar Lodge 8 Year Old is a blended malt Scotch whisky bottled by Findlater Mackie Todd & Co. Ltd. in a 75cl bottle at 43% ABV. The Mar Lodge name refers to the Findlater family's Scottish roots in Mar and Buchan.
The nose has soft malt and honey, raisins and sultanas with a touch of light sherry, and subtle oak and floral notes. The palate is smooth and rounded, with toffee, nuts and dried apricot, and a light spice and herbal edge. The finish is of medium length, clean and warming, with oak and malt and a touch of dryness.
