Finlaggan 10 Year Old is an Islay single malt from a single ex-bourbon hogshead, number 318519. The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. Ltd. bottled it in February 2026 at a natural cask strength of 52.5%, filling 330 bottles of 70cl. It is non-chill-filtered and without added colour. Finlaggan is the flagship brand of The Vintage Malt Whisky Co., an independent bottler founded in 1992 by Brian Crook. The name refers to Loch Finlaggan, the historic seat of the Lords of the Isles. The nose combines peat smoke and lemon with cinnamon and dark tar. The palate has strong sea salt, an intense impression of oak fire, shellfish and sharp lemon peel. The finish is long and dry, with charred wood smoke and peat ash.
