Finlaggan Cask Strength Islay Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 58%)

Finlaggan Cask Strength is an Islay single malt bottled at 58% in a 70cl bottle by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. The name of the distillery that made it is kept private, as it is for the Finlaggan Old Reserve. The whisky takes its name from Finlaggan, a historic site on Islay where the Lord of the Isles once ruled from a castle stronghold, about 2km north-west of Ballygrant. Bottled at cask strength, it is best enjoyed with a few drops of water, which let the aromas and flavours open up.
