Finlaggan Old Reserve Islay Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Finlaggan Old Reserve is an Islay single malt bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co., which considers Finlaggan its flagship brand. The distillery behind the whisky is not named on the bottle. It carries no age statement and is matured in a mix of casks: 50% first-fill ex-bourbon, 45% refill ex-bourbon and 5% ex-sherry. The name comes from Finlaggan, a historic site on Islay beside Loch Finlaggan. It is described as a classic Islay style, with peat smoke, maritime saltiness and earthy depth.
