Finlaggan Red Wine Cask (70cl, 46%)

Finlaggan Red Wine Cask is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky from a red wine cask, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The name comes from Loch Finlaggan on Islay, a place of great importance in Scottish history. The loch holds three islands, among them Eilean Mor and Eilean na Comhairle, the council isle. It was the setting for the installation of the Macdonald Lords of the Isles, and the chiefs of Clan Donald made it their home, which is why Islay is often called the Cradle of Clan Donald.
