Floki Single Cask Reserve Icelandic Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 47%)

This is a single cask Icelandic single malt from the Eimverk Distillery, made from home-grown barley. Bottled by the distillery in 2024, it matured for three years in cask 75, which had previously held Flóki Young Malt. It is a numbered single cask release with no sherry or beer cask finish, bottled at 47% without chill-filtering or added colour. The nose is led by spicy oak, with pastry and further spice behind it, and sweet vanilla that turns to lemon. On the palate, intense plum fruit shapes a full-bodied whisky, with sweet vanilla, honey and barley, and a touch of nutmeg leading to the finish. That medium finish keeps oak spice, malt and citrus.
