Four Roses – Bourbon (70cl, 40%)

Four Roses Bourbon is a Kentucky bourbon, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The makers have spent the past 45 years paying a premium for high-quality water and grains. One of the mashes used in making it has a higher rye content than any other bourbon, which gives a spicy, full-bodied whiskey with a long, soft finish. On the nose it is fruity and floral, with gentle spice and honey. The palate is crisp yet soft, with fresh fruit and hints of pear and apple, and the finish is soft and smooth.
