Four Roses – Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey (70cl, 50%)

This is a single barrel Bourbon from Four Roses, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. The mashbill is 60% corn, 35% rye and 5% malted barley, and the yeast is the distillery's V strain, described as delicately fruity, spicy and creamy. Each bottle comes from a single barrel, marked with a warehouse and barrel number, so no two releases taste quite the same. Ages vary, and barrels are bottled when they are judged to have reached their peak.
