Four Roses Small Batch is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle, with no added colouring.
It is made by marrying four different recipes selected from the distillery's own warehouses. The bourbon matured for several years in new, charred American white oak casks.
The nose shows golden honey, dry hay and warm spices that recall Christmas baking. The palate is soft and full, with honey, vanilla cream and sweet pastry, along with a steady oak spice. The finish is smooth and fairly long, with sweet vanilla, gentle spice and subtle oak.
