Four Roses – Yellow Label Bourbon (70cl, 40%)

Four Roses Yellow Label is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is aged for a minimum of five years. The brand dates to 1888 and takes its name from the four red roses Paul Jones Jr. used when he proposed to his fiancée. At the distillery in Lawrenceburg, two mash bills, one with 60% corn and one with 75%, are combined with five yeast strains to give ten recipes. It is typically described as having crisp fruit and gentle spice.
