Foursquare 19 Year Old 2006 Single Cask (70cl, 50.6%)

This is a 19-year-old single cask rum from Foursquare in Barbados, distilled in 2006 and bottled at 50.6% abv in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a single barrel and pairs a rich, jammy sweetness with baking spices and a deep, funky character. The nose is bright and tropical, with pineapple, melon, pine resin and gingerbread, plus blackcurrant juice, milk chocolate and coconut. The palate is juicy and bold, with citrus peel, charred pineapple, jam doughnuts, cinnamon custard, raisins and black cherry, lifted by fresh grassiness. The finish is medium, with baking spices and dried fruits.
