A 12-year-old Barbados rum from The Real McCoy, made at the Foursquare Distillery in St. Philip. It is distilled using both traditional copper pot stills and column stills, then aged for twelve years in heavily charred American oak bourbon barrels.
The rum is named after the rum runner Bill McCoy and contains no added sugar, artificial flavours or colouring.
The nose brings caramel, toasted coconut, vanilla bean, oak spice and orange peel. On the palate there is rich toffee, baked banana, dark caramel, vanilla and toasted oak. The finish is long and smooth, with vanilla, baking spice and a subtle molasses sweetness.
