Frank August Single Barrel is a five year old Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at cask strength at 61.65% ABV (123.3 proof) in a 750ml decanter.
Each bottling comes from one individually selected, numbered barrel and is bottled without dilution or filtration.
The nose offers baking spices, oak and fruit, opening into vanilla and cacao. On the palate, cinnamon and rye spice sit over caramel, dark cherry, roasted pecan and deep oak. The finish is long and balanced, with black cherry, cocoa, pepper and lingering oak.
