Frey Ranch – Bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey 5 Year (75cl, 50%)

Frey Ranch Bottled in Bond Rye is a 5-year-old straight rye from an estate distillery in Nevada's Carson Valley, where the grain is grown as well as distilled. It is bottled at 100 proof, or 50% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. As a bottled-in-bond whiskey, it comes from a single distilling season and was aged in a bonded warehouse for at least four years. Here the age is five. The palate is bold rye spice with baking spice, dark fruit and toasted oak, followed by a long, warming, structured finish.
