Friar John Cor Quincentenary is a blended Scotch whisky made to mark 500 years of Scotch whisky, from 1494 to 1994. It was released in an edition of 1494 bottles, here in a one litre bottle at 43% ABV. The nose is complex, with sweet dried fruits, raisins, a whiff of light smoke and rich tobacco leaf. The palate is smooth and sweet with dried fruits and spices, and a rich mouthfeel. The finish is long and dry, as dried fruits meet creamy vanilla and a touch of light smoke.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
