Frysk Hynder Red Wine Cask is a Dutch single malt, distilled twice at the Us Heit Distillery in Bolsward, Friesland. It is made from 100% malt from the distillery's own maltings and matured for three years in oak red wine casks from Bordeaux. This is a limited edition, closed with a cork topped by a pewter horse's head.
The nose is fruity, with subtle wood and grain. The palate is rich and aromatic, balancing fruit and spice. The finish is warm and soft, with a hint of red wine.
