A Dutch single malt from the Us Heit Distillery in Bolsward, Friesland, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle with no added colour. The bottle has a cork stopper and is decorated with a pewter horse head.
The whisky matured in red wine casks, which bring fruity and chocolatey notes.
The nose is fruity with a hint of dark chocolate. The palate is mild and malty, with a sweet note of dark cherry. The finish is warm and harmonious, with a gentle mildness.
