Fujikai 10 Year Old is a Japanese single malt whisky in a 50cl bottle. It takes its name from Mount Fuji, the mountain that is home to the Monde Shuzo distillery.
The whisky was matured for at least ten years in American bourbon casks, and it is a limited bottling.
The nose brings sweet fruit, vanilla, a touch of smoke and fine oak. On the palate, sweetness and smoke sit in balance, with ripe apple, pear and caramel alongside gentle spice. The finish is long, with pepper and a pleasant warmth.
