A ten-year-old George Dickel Tennessee whiskey, distilled in 2016 and bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as B5.21, Tennessee to Talawakelle. It comes from a single new charred oak barrel, which gave 102 bottles, and it is the oldest bourbon the Society has bottled.
The aromas include cinnamon potpourri, incense, dried apple and banana sweets, alongside lychee and hibiscus tea. Vanilla, red chilli and sponge cake follow. With water, elderflower, tutti frutti ice cream and gooseberry appear, then pineapple, passion fruit and mango, and finally glacé cherries, popcorn and cream cheese frosting.
