This is a single barrel George Dickel Tennessee whiskey, distilled in 2016 and aged for seven years. The Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottled it from a single charred barrel as B5.16, under the name Tipsy Texas Tea, at 64.6% ABV. It came to 148 bottles.
The tasting notes describe a nose of walnut wood, furniture polish and sweet booze. The palate brings dark chocolate, oaky-smoky chilli and cocoa nib, along with salted honey and rosemary-roasted walnuts.
