George Remus Straight Bourbon Whisky (75cl, 47%)

George Remus Straight Bourbon is a high-rye blend aged for at least four years, bottled at 47% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is the house label of MGP, which acquired it in 2016 from Queen City Whiskey Co., a Cincinnati distillery. The name comes from George Remus, a bootlegger of the Prohibition era who is reported to have owned many American distilleries before losing them all. He was known for his parties; on at least one occasion he is said to have given the men diamond stickpins and their wives new cars.
